CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
  • KIDS : Genesis is the best kids ballroom dance studio on the West Coast. We have been operating the kids dance classes since 1994. Your kids will learn to dance in a safe environment, build many new friendships and challenge themselves in professionally led dance classes. Our program is based on a year round curriculum with the accent on social learning atmosphere. The kids get involved and stay in this program for years. They build great memories, learn to dance socially or competitively (depending on preference) and build self-confidence along the way. The studio is owned by Dancing With The Stars celebrities Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo who built the studio from ground up. Whatever your goals are, we can accomodate your kid with the right program for them.
  • ADULT : Nowhere else will you find the mix of instructors so experienced and prolific as in Genesis. The formula for teaching has been developed over 15 years of experience.Celebrity instructors and world champions lead this group.Newcomers Welcome - No Partner needed!
  • WEDDINGS : Do you want to learn a wedding dance? If so, we will teach you that one special wedding dance that you want to perform at the wedding. Our professionals are specifically trained to give the most stunning choreography for that once-in-a-lifetime wedding event. We will make sure you're comfortable with the steps, styling, music and the theme of the dance as you learn in our historic studio on Clement Street. Genesis - Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo - "Dancing With The Stars" celebrity owned studio is a unique place that understands your anxieties about learning a new dance. Our patient and professional approach to teaching your wedding dance will make it a memorable experience for a lifetime.
